My client, a biopharmaceutical technology company are looking for a QMS Engineer to join their growing quality team. This company are in a scale-up phase and work with technology that allows imaging of living cells without damaging it. The role will offer the opportunity to build a QMS and be significantly involved with gaining accreditations from health authorities globally.

QMS Engineer 

Location: Vaud

Job function:

• Responsible for operating the quality management system (QMS), writing procedures and processes to support the QMS development.
• Oversee effective implementation of the quality management system throughout the company, including any business accreditation
• Maintain the quality manuals, quality procedures and all quality documents and ensure contents are appropriate for business
• Coordinate the review of quality procedures associated with plant continuous improvement initiatives
• Support other functional teams of the department including procurement, service, and design
• Guide QMS and lead project to receive standard certification
• Conduct quality systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors
• Organise and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system

To be considered you need to have.

• Scientific based degree or equivalent (at least BSc).
• Experience in building and maintenance of a QMS for pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of ISO9000.
• Authorities and certification bodies management.
• Fluent in English, French is a plus.
